We heard about LG Optimus L3 II back in February when LG announced it officially in MWC2013. The device has now started popping up on the online stores for a price of Rs 7899. While Flipkart is showing it out of stock, its ready for dispatch with some other sellers (See all sellers). LG Optimus L3 II is a 3.2 inch Android smart phone powered by 1 GHz processor and 512MB Ram. The 262k IPS display packs a resolution 320 x 240 Pixels and runs Android 4.1 out of the box. There’s no word on any upcoming up gradation of OS from company. While an IPS display in this price range sounds great, the low resolution limits the device in terms of multimedia usage. The dual sim device packs a 3MP camera at the back with Geo tagging, but lacks an LED Flash. There’s no cam on the front for video calling. It houses 4GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded further by 32GB via SD card. Connectivity options include 3G, EDGE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, micro USB port etc. LG has empowered it with a 1540 mAH battery. At its price LG Optimus L3 II offers a good value for money yet leaves a lot to be desired. In addition to Sony Xperia E dual, Samsung Galaxy Y Duos etc, it will also face a stiff competition from the likes of local players (e.g Micromax, Lava) who are offering far better specifications at this price. But for some, brand does matter.
