There’s another member in the LG’s flagship Optimus L series, LG Optimus L9.
Launched for a price of Rs 22000, the device poses a 4.7 inch, 800X480 pixels, IPS display running Android 4.0 topped with Optimus 3.0 UI. The mobile is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor accompanied by PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 1GB DDR2 Ram. It houses 4GB of inbuilt memory which is further expandable by 32GB via Micro SD card. On the camera front it has 5.0 MP rear Autofocus camera with LED Flash and a 0.3 MP front camera for video calling.
LG Optimus L9 is also listed on Flipkart for Rs 19990 which hints at a below 20k street pricing. Though the specifications look promising at this price point, but the mobile will get a tough competition from LG’s own Google branded Nexus 4 which we expect to be available for same price with a way better specifications. LG Google Nexus 4 sports a 4.7 inch, 768X1280 pixels, capacitive touch screen running Android 4.2 powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad core processor complemented by Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB Ram. On the camera front also the Nexus 4 takes lead with 8MP rear snapper with Full HD video recording and a 1.3 front camera.
LG Optimus L9 is the 4th mobile in the Optimus L series after LG Optimus L3, Optimus L5 and Optimus L7. Initially the phone will be available only in white color.
