Lenovo P2 with 5,100mAh battery and Snapdragon 625 launched, prices start at Rs 16,999

“The Lenovo P2 is a premium phablet featuring a massive battery that delivers 71 hours of talk time”

After introducing the P2 at IFA in September last year, Lenovo has now launched the phone in India. The P2 is a premium phablet that boasts a huge 5,100mAh battery, which supports fast charging via a 24-watt charger, and can be used to fuel other devices via USB OTG as well. The brand claims it can deliver up to 71 hours of talk time and up to 32 days of standby time. The phone also features a dedicated power saver mode, which can be activated at a flick of a switch.

Coming to the other specs, the Lenovo P2 flaunts a metal unibody design, and gets a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button. The phone sports a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, and boots Android Marshmallow. Under the hood, it packs in a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, mated to an Adreno 506 GPU.

The Lenovo P2 comes in 3GB and 4GB of RAM models. The phone comes with 32GB of internal memory, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card. The camera department includes a 13-megapixel primary snapper with a dual-tone LED flash, and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC.

The Lenovo P2’s 3GB model has been priced at Rs 16,999, while the 4GB variant will set you back by Rs 17,999. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting midnight tonight in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey hues. The launch day offers include up to Rs 15,000 off on exchange, and a 10 percent instant discount for purchases made via SBI credit cards.
