The popular PC and Laptop manufacturer, Lenovo has announced the launch of its new 8inch tablet the Lenovo Miix 2 running on the Windows 8.1 operating system. It is the successor to the Lenovo Miix 10 and comes with the same 5MP rear & 2MP front cameras. Company stated it will be available in the US for $299 (32GB version) & $349 (for 64GB) starting from November this year.
Lenovo Miix 2 is one of the first tablets in the market powered by Intel Bay Trail quad core processor. It is the latest iteration of the ATOM family of the processors which is designed to run faster and longer than the previous generation. Company has powered this tablet with a 2GB RAM memory and offers it in 32GB or 64GB memory models.

Lenovo is also offering an optional stylus pen and a detachable cover with the tablet which will make it look like the Apple iPad Mini
