Lenovo announces Vibe X smartphone with full HD display and quad core processor

In addition to the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga convertible laptop, company has also announced a slim profile Android smartphone dubbed as Lenovo Vibe X at IFA 2013 with full HD display and quad core processor. It is designed with premium polycarbonate body material and carved with laser-engraved advanced tactile finish. One of the main highlights of this Lenovo handset is its super thin profile which measures just 6.9mm in thickness.

Lenovo Vibe X

Features wise, the Lenovo Vibe X offers a 5inch full HD touch screen display with the resolution of 1080 * 1920 pixels and offers 440pixels per inch density. Display of the phone is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 against scratches. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core MediaTek processor along with 2GB of RAM memory and a decent 2000mAh battery under the hood. The latest Lenovo smartphone is running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version and comes with 16GB of internal storage. It is having 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash support. Company has pre-loaded the phone with a full-featured photo application which gives the user a fresh way to view and organize photos.

Vibe X Slim design

There is a 5MP front facing shooter is also present in the device with wide-angle 84 degree lens for video conferencing purposes. Company hasn’t yet revealed any information about the pricing of the phone. First it will be landing in the Chinese market around October and its global roll out will begin from December 2013.
