A sleek profile
The first thing you notice about a new television even before it’s switched on is its design. And thankfully, the Super3 X65 from LeEco delivers well beyond expectations in this regard. The TV is extremely thin, measuring just 10.9mm at its thinnest point, giving it an eye-catching appeal. LeEco hasn’t stopped there, as the TV comes with a unique wave-shaped base which makes it look as if it is floating in mid-air. But in case you favour a more traditional wall mount, you can opt for that as well. Overall, we have no complaints from the company when it comes to the design of its SuperTVs.
Bezel-less 4K experience
Each of LeEco’s new SuperTVs come with a 4K panel, and the X65 is no different, as it comes with a 65-inch 4K display. You can enjoy your content in four times the resolution of standard full HD TVs, along with an immersive audio experience, thanks to the 20W 2.1 channel speaker system. The high resolution panel is encased in a beautiful frame with extremely narrow bezels, adding to the aura of your living room. In a nutshell, the design of the SuperTVs seem like a thought executed to perfection.
Ports and Connectivity
For most of us, our TV is the central hub for most of our connected devices. Be it your PlayStation, Home Theatre or DVD player, the X65 can connect to all your devices. The wide array of ports on LeEco’s offering include three HDMI and USB ports, as well as one port each for Ethernet, VGA input and SPIDIF Optical Audio, among others. The TV also comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as Airplay support. And guess what, there’s a USB port on top of the TV as well, which can be used to attach a webcam.
The LeEco Super3 X65 can deliver some stunning visuals, but it also packs in a lot of power to drive the performance to a whole new level. Under the hood, the Super3 X65 TV is powered by a quad-core Cortex A17 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with a Mali T-760 GPU for rendering the graphics. In addition to this, there is 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, something we barely see on Televisions. The company has opted for eMMC 5.0 standard for the storage, making the TV even more responsive.
The Super Remote
The Super3 TVs from LeEco come with the company’s Super Remote Control 3.0, which is touted as one of the handiest and smartest television remotes in the market. While the four-direction navigation buttons help users easily access different applications and functions, the company also plans to bring voice commands through a future update. For this, the brand has equipped the smart remote with a built-in microphone as well. With a minimalist and sleek design, the Super Remote is a handy way to control your SuperTV.
The LeEco Super3 X65 TV runs eUI 5.5 TV which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The software is optimised to integrate with the Android platform, enabling users to seamlessly enjoy content from their smartphone on to the 65-inch screen of their X65 SuperTV. You can install a variety of apps ranging all the way from games to entertainment. In fact, the SuperTVs are touted as being a complete Internet ecosystem. Last but not the least, you can expect the software to be updated frequently ensuring a continuous flow of new features and bug fixes.
Earlier this year, LeEco unveiled its LeEco membership in the country. The company’s ecosystem lives at the core of each of its SuperTVs, as each new TV will come bundled with two years of LeEco membership worth Rs 9,800. This entitles the customers to enjoy the content they wish to, including over 2,000 HD / full HD Hollywood and Bollywood movies, more than 100 live satellite channels, over 3.5 million songs (coming soon via a software update), and more than 50 live concerts from around the world. Now that’s a deal you can’t miss.
