At their slimmest points, LeEco’s SuperTVs are almost as thin as some smartphones from a few years ago. The Super3 X65 is just 10.9mm thin, while the Super3 X55 and Super3 Max65 measure about 15.5mm and 18.55mm. What this means is that if you opt to wall mount your TV, then the setup is going to take up lesser space, giving it a more elegant look. And even otherwise, a sleek design is always better, right? Full marks to LeEco for making TVs that not only look good but also save up on precious room space.
Attractive and sturdy cloud stand
The brand has built a pretty impressive cloud-style stand for its TVs that looks a class above its competition. The curved stand design is not only unique, but is also surprisingly very sturdy. With the stand properly in place, you can be rest assured that you have safely secured your TV. Not to mention that it also makes the TV look like it’s floating in the clouds… hence the name, we presume.
Near bezel-less experience
No one likes big and bulky bezels surrounding the screen on their new television. It leaves a bad impression on the viewer. Moreover, watching content on a television with slimmer bezels makes the content look more true to life and more enjoyable, as a result. LeEco has listened to this demand of its consumers, as its Super3 range of TVs comes with very narrow bezels, taking the viewing experience up to another level. Furthermore, the high quality finish of the bezels is something we would like to applaud as well.
LeEco’s TVs come with a bunch of connectivity options including three, HDMI and USB, ports, along with one port each for Ethernet, VGA input, and SPIDIF Optical audio, among others. The TVs also come with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as Airplay support. But this is of no use, if the placement of such ports isn’t appropriate. Once again, LeEco has done a thoughtful implementation in this regard as the ports are well within reach, and the placement of the ports is just where it needs to be. As an added bonus, you also get an USB port on top of the TV to connect a camera.
The multi-purpose remote control
Enough talk about the TV, what about the device that’s going to be in your hand more often than not? The beautifully-crafted design of the TVs extends to the remote, which has a nice design with good quality materials and nicely spaced out buttons. The Super Remote 3.0 is loaded with features like a built-in microphone for voice controls (which is coming soon via an update), a gyro sensor to use it as an air mouse, and a gamepad.
