“LeEco Day is the brand’s way to appreciate the amazing response it has enjoyed from its consumers in the Indian market” LeEco (formerly Letv) has enjoyed a warm welcome in the Indian smartphone market. Its budget offering, the Le 1s has sold over 2 lakh units during its three flash sales, creating an industry record. Thanking the public for their incredible support and encouragement, the Chinese brand is celebrating LeEco Day. In addition to the introductory open sale for Le 1s, the manufacturer has planned many attractive, hard-to-pass offers for its Rs 8 crore shopping bonanza scheduled to take place on February 25th. The first in a long series of benefits and offers, which would be a part of the LeEco Day, is the introduction of exchange offers for both its smartphones, the Le 1s (review)and Le Max. This gives the consumers a chance to exchange their old smartphones, provided they are in working condition, and get LeEco devices at attractive prices. The company is providing a discount of up to Rs 6,000 on the Le 1s, and up to Rs 20,000 on the premium Le Max. The news is certainly exciting as the consumers can avail a discount of up to 50 percent on either of the two phones. There will also be various prizes for the buyers, with one lucky consumer getting the latest Mahindra KUV 100. LeEco has also tied up with Axis Bank, letting users avail 10 percent of discount on the Le 1s, and Rs 1500 off on the Le Max, on the bank’s debit and credit cards. LeEco has been busy enhancing and building the ecosystem that it’s been harping about. Buyers of the LeEco superphones can expect a content ecosystem to be uploaded to their smartphones in the second quarter of the year, with the company having already signed contracts with EROS and YuppTV. Also noteworthy are the after-sales policies, as LeEco has put in place 555 service centres across the country, besides providing a 24×7 toll free service, along with other value-added services. Not keeping it strictly commercial, LeEco has joined hands with Akshay Patra Foundation, to aid the Indian government’s “Mid-Day meal” program. The company will be supporting mid-day meals for two children, for every Le superphone sold. “LeEco’s core values as a company include associating ourselves with social causes that help sustainable development of the communities where we operate“, said the COO Smart Electronics Business, Mr. Atul Jain. The LeEco Day has been organised in conjunction with Flipkart and is expected to garner massive response, owing to the growing strength and popularity of brand’s superphones.
