The Indian rising tech manufacturer, Lava has launched its third Intel powered smartphone- the Xolo X1000 under the Xolo sub-brand at a price of Rs. 19,999.
Xolo X1000 is based on the first generation Intel Atom Z2480 processor that had been released by Intel in the previous year. The Xolo X1000 boasts a 4.7-inch sharp TFT Transmissive 2.5D curved glass LCD that bears a HD display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system and gets powered with a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2480 processor with hyper-threading accompanied by 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. The other features of the Xolo X1000 includes 8MP Rear camera, 1.3MP Front camera, 8GB Internal Memory, expandable up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and 1900 mAh battery
Lava Xolo X1000 will arrive on the Indian store shelves after March 21 with a price tag of Rs. 19,999. However, some online retailer are also pre-booking the device at the same price. The company claims the Xolo X1000 to be the fastest ever smartphone and thus, we may expect it to give a tough competition to the Lenovo K900 and Acer Liquid C1 smartphones.
Lava had recently launched its first quad-core smart device, the Q800 with a 4.5-inch qHD display in the Indian Market. The manufacturer has also planned to roll out a number of new smart devices powered by a quad-core processor in the coming time and has named the device series as QCORE. We may expect the arrival of at least four Lava Quad-Core smartphones by the month of April.
