Knockout: Asus MeMo Pad vs Acer Iconia B1

The Second one comes from PCs & Notebooks Manufacturer ACER. Acer has launched its new Tablet, the Acer Iconia B1 in India at a price of Rs 7999. The Tablet was officially launched at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas. The tablet provides lots of exciting user friendly features in an affordable price.


Asus MeMo Pad sports a 7 inch ten point multi touch LED-backlit display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.

Acer Iconia B1 sports a 7.0 inch Capacitive Touch Screen producing a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.


Asus MeMo Pad is powered by 1GHz VIA WM8950 CPU with a Mali-400 GPU coupled with 1 GB of RAM for smoother interface and quick response.

Acer Iconia B1 is powered by 1.2GHz Dual core processor coupled with 512MB DDR3 RAM.


Both the Tablets, run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.


Asus MeMo Pad carries a 1 megapixel camera on its front 720p HD video capture at 30fps.

Acer Iconia B1 houses a VGA camera on the front for Video Calls.


Asus MeMo Pad comes in two options. One with 8GB internal storage capacity and the other is offering 16GB of internal storage capacity. It also does offers 5GB of ASUS Web Storage.

Acer Iconia B1 also has memory options of 8GB and 16GB that is expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.


On Connectivity fronts, Asus MeMo Pad carries Wi-fi, microUSB, G-Sensors, microphone and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Acer Iconia B1 supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, GPS as connectivity options.


Asus MeMo Pad boasts some great features at its price tag and is available in three bright colours, in Sugar White, Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink.

It comes with many pre installed Asus Apps like SuperNote Lite, ASUS WebStorage, ASUS WebStorage Online Office, ASUS Studio, BuddyBuzz, MyPainter and MyBitCast.

Acer Iconia B1 houses features like Accelerometer, Voice commands and many other standard features.


Asus MeMo Pad is fuelled by 4,270mAh battery which promises 7 hours of run.

Acer Iconia B1 is fueled by a 2,710 mah battery.


Acer Iconia B1 is already launched in India and Asus MeMo Pad is also arriving soon with approximately same price tag. However, Specification & features wise Asus MeMo Pad is a clear winner in this Comparison Knockout.
