iPad Mini gets a clone in China

Oct 23rd – iPad Mini unveiled Oct 24th – GooPad Mini unveiled It was quick, isn’t it? It took weeks of Apple engineers hardwork, thousands of leaks and rumor related articles and a meeting in San Jose to bring you the iPad Mini by Apple. On the other hand it took just a day to clone the device by a chinese manufacturer. Not only they announced the device, but also confirmed release in November. These Chinese companies are as fast as you can think of. goopadmini GooPad Mini, like Apple iPad Mini, carries a 7.9-inch, 1024×768 px, Capacitive touch screen which will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. To give you a complete iPad feel, it will come with ios rip-off  iLaunch theme preloaded. Other specification of the tablet includes 1.4 GHz Dual core processor, 1GB Ram, 2MP main camera, 0.3MP front facing camera etc. All these for just $99. The tablet has been showcased by a company called GooPhone, the same company which launched GooPhone i5 (a clone of Apple iPhone 5) even before Apple unveiled the iPhone 5. Now if you are thinking Apple might sue this company very soon, the real news will blow you away. GooPhone has announced to sue Apple if they dare bring iPhone 5 to China.
