“The Snap 4 is the first smartphone in India to feature four cameras – two at the rear and two on the front”
This year, the dual camera setup is one of the most trending features in smartphones. We have seen a number of new dual camera-toting smartphones being launching in India recently. Now taking the dual camera trend to a whole new level, InFocus has launched the first smartphone in India with four cameras called the Snap 4, which has two cameras at the rear and two on the front. In addition, the company has also launched a battery-centric smartphone called the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus in the country.
Talking about the InFocus Snap 4 first, the phone has a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear, accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The former features an 80-degree wide-angle 5P lens, while the latter uses a 120-degree wide-angle 6P lens. On the front, the phone gets two 8-megapixel cameras with a background blur feature to let you capture selfies in portrait mode. Design-wise, the device sports a metal unibody design with a 360-degree fingerprint sensor at the rear.
As for the other specs, the InFocus Snap 4 offers a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor, mated to 4GB of RAM. The device comes with 64GB of storage, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, Bluetooth and GPS. A 3,000mAh battery keeps the phone running, while Android Nougat handles the software-side of things.
Coming to the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus, the phone boasts a massive 4,850mAh battery, and can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices thanks to the reverse charging feature. The phone features a multi-functional fingerprint sensor on the front. This one also gets a dual camera setup at the rear – a 13MP snapper assisted by a 5MP shooter. For selfies, it has been fitted with a 5-megapixel shooter.
The Turbo 5 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by a MediaTek 6750 processor, mated to 3GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 32GB, further expandable via a microSD card. Its software and connectivity features are the same as the Snap 4.
As for the pricing, the InFocus Snap 4 has been priced at Rs 11,999, and will go on sale exclusively on Amazon India starting September 26th. There’s also an offline-only variant of the phone with 32GB of storage that will go on sale later. The InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is being offered for Rs 8,999, and will be available exclusively on Amazon starting September 21st. These phones come bundled with up to 30GB of additional Reliance Jio 4G data.
