“The InFocus Snap 4 is the first smartphone in India to come with dual cameras at the front and back”
The American handset maker InFocus took to the stage today to unveil two new budget segment smartphones – the Snap 4 and Turbo 5 Plus. Both these smartphones come with their respective USPs, but the Snap 4 happens to be the more interesting of the two. While the Gionee S10 was the world’s first smartphone to offer four cameras, it never made it to Indian shores. However, now the InFocus Snap 4 has arrived and it is the first smartphone in India to feature dual camera modules on both front and rear.
Speaking of cameras, the InFocus Snap 4 comes with a 13-megapixel camera on the rear, which is accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The bigger primary lens has an 80-degree wide-angle 5P lens and the secondary camera is 120-degree wide-angle 6P lens. On the contrary, both cameras on the front are 8-megapixel each with portrait mode, which let users capture selfies with a blurred background. Up front, the Snap 4 sports a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The metal-clad handset runs Android Nougat. Under the hood, the device comes powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor which is mated to 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of onboard storage, which can be increased further by inserting a microSD card. The handset sips power required from a 3,000mAh battery, which should last a whole day of usage on a single charge.
Now that we are done with the specs of the handset, let us take a look at the device in the gallery below.
The InFocus Snap 4 has been scheduled for sale starting September 26th exclusively on Amazon India. You can pick one up by shelling out Rs 11,999. While the handset is attention-grabbing due to its USP, it’s up against solid devices such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (review) and Lenovo K8 Plus (first impressions).
