“The S3X could be Infinix’s first smartphone with a notch-toting display”
Hong-Kong based Infinix has announced the launch of a new smartphone in Pakistan on the country’s Independence Day, i.e. August 14th. It is allegedly dubbed as the Infinix S3X. The company has been teasing the phone on its social-networking pages for a while now, and it seems to come with a notch-toting display. Apart from this, Infinix hasn’t shared many details about the S3X phone, however, rumours suggest that it could feature a beefy battery.
As per a report, the Infinix S3X is expected to ship with a 6.2-inch HD+ display that reaches 500nits brightness and has an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is likely to come equipped with a Snapdragon SoC paired with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB expandable storage. In the camera department, the S3X handset features dual 13MP + 2MP cameras with LED flash at the rear panel and a 13MP sensor on the front with AI capabilities. For security, the phone sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Infinix S3X price in Pakistan is expected to be Rs 24,000 for the base variant with 3GB RAM and Rs 30,000 for the top-end 4GB RAM model. Infinix has collaborated with Daraz, a local e-tailer to sell the phone across the country. The leaked render of the phone shows a blue colour variant with a glossy back. The brand may also launch the phone in other hues.
