One of the leading mobile operators in India, Idea Cellular has added a new product to its 3G smartphone lineup which has been named as Zeal.
The newly launched Zeal smartphone boasts a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and bears a display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) operating system and gets powered with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor coupled with 256MB RAM. It features Dual-SIM support, 3MP Camera, 512MB Internal storage expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD Card.
The other specifications of the smart device includes 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and a 1300mAh battery. It also arrives packed with some pre-loaded applications such as Idea TV, Idea Mall, Facebook, Orkut, YouTube and Twitter.
Looking at most of the specifications of the newly launched Zeal smartphone we must admit that it is quite similar to the Aurus smartphone launched by Idea last year but differs at the camera front majorly.
Idea Zeal Dual-SIM smartphone brings along with itself a 3G data usage offer for its buyers. The Zeal users will get 1GB of free data per month for the first 3 months by availing a pack of Rs. 261 on the device. Also, the Zeal smartphone customers will get free Idea TV usage worth Rs. 150 for the first three months. Priced at Rs. 5390, the Zeal will be available for sale at all Idea outlets and also with all major retailers across India.
Idea Zeal clearly hints towards the company’s strategy for pulling the existing 2G users to 3G. Also, the device plays a key role in the enhancement of service experience for the users.
