A new mid-range Android smartphone Huawei Ascend P1 from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now available to pre-order in the Indian market for Rs. 12,990. The online retailer Flipkart.com is now taking pre-orders for the phone for the mentioned price with the estimated release date in the third week of August 2013. The phone was originally announced in the Consumer Electronics Show this year and now it has reached to the Indian shores to line up in the affordable device segment.
Features wise, Huawei Ascend P1 comes with a 4.3inch super AMOLED touch screen display with the resolution of 540*960 pixels. It is running on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream operating system versions. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. It is a Single SIM device that comes with 4GB of internal storage expendable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It comes with 8MP rear camera along with 1.3MP front facing shooter. Connectivity wise it offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and MicroUSB features. It is powered by a 1670mAh battery with decent up time with moderate usage. A good thing about the phone is that its display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 against scratches. The phone is presented to the Indian consumers after quite a long time since it has been officially announced a lot of months back. Still it is only available to pre-order at the Flipkart.com online store and we hope it to reach to the Indian stores by the third week of this month.
