HTC U11 Life with Edge Sense and 5.2-inch full HD display to come later this year

“The HTC U11 Life will flaunt IP67 certification and USonic earbuds”

The Taiwanese handset maker, HTC recently launched its flagship device, the HTC U11 (review) with the unique Edge Sense feature, earlier this year. Now, the brand is all set to add another handset viz. HTC U11 Life to the lineup.

The upcoming smartphone will come flaunting a 5.2-inch Full HD display on the fascia and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has been revealed that the device will come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 with 32GB of expandable storage, while the amount of RAM is not known as of now. On the optics front, the handset gets the same 16MP front camera as the U11, and a 16MP rear camera with phase detection auto focus. However, the mainstay of the handset is the proprietary Edge Sense, which was first seen on the HTC U11 and lets users perform tasks by simply squeezing the sides of the device. It has also been confirmed that the handset will flaunt IP67 certification and come with HTC USonic earbuds with active noise cancellation included in the box.

As of now, there has been no confirmation regarding the pricing of the upcoming U11 Life, except for the fact that it would be a toned-down version of the HTC U11 and land sometime later this year.
