The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC has finally unveiled its much awaited flagship device with an aluminium uni body design, the HTC One. The device possesses features that are in-line with the speculations being made earlier. The device was launched at the HTC one event that was held by the company. The device was earlier rumored to be released as the HTC M7.The HTC One sports a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 display exhibiting a display resolution of 1080 pixels along with a tremendous pixel density of 468 ppi. Running on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, this slim phone is powered with a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad-core processor along with 2 GB of RAM. The HTC One has got a 4 MP camera with Ultrapixel technology from HTC. The tremendous camera is capable of taking 20 photos at a time and has been complemented with BSI Sensor, HTC ImageChip 2, Smart Flash and OIS. HTC One has also been equipped with a 2.1 MP Front-facing camera that has got wide angle lens with HDR capabilities. Both the cameras support multi-axis optical image stabilization feature. The other features of the device includes Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, HDMI, DLNA, MicroUSB connectivity options and a 2300 mAh battery. The new innovation from HTC is the first gadget with an infrared transmitter and software for any set or digibox. To add to the uniqueness of the device the manufacturer has complemented it with the Blink Feed, Zoe, BoomSound and Sense Voice features from the house of HTC. The device is also capable of assisting its user to surf channels on a television with the Sense TV feature HTC has planned to roll out the newly launched One smartphone in HSPA as well as LTE variants in black and white colour options. We may surely expect the HTC One to revolutionize the tech world with the superb blend of exceptional features it has got and arrive in the Indian market by March this year too.
