Google is all set to join hands with Asustek Computer again to manufacture the next generation of The Nexus 7. The companies had earlier collaborated to build the first generation of the Nexus 7.
The second generation of the Phablet is all set for a launch in May this year.
The Second Gen Nexus 7 will be priced at around the current Phablet’s range. The first gen Nexus 7 is available in three models – 16GB, 32GB and 32GB.
The next gen Nexus 7 will have several upgrades such as a thinner display with full HD resolution with display size of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system which is likely to be updated to Android’s next big version, reported to be the 5.0 Key LimePie.
Official confirmation is awaited regarding the exact release date of the tablet although it assumed the launch is likely to happen at the annual Google I/O event that will commence from 15th May, 2013.
