Glamorous packed MWC 2013

The Mobile World Congress is a five day fully packed event that hosts innumerable announcements, showcases of fresh releases and booths. This great event is a treat for tech-buffs and also witnesses a lot of parties and fun to jazz it up even further. Let us take a brief walkthrough of the MWC 2013 schedule. Mobile World Congress 2013Day 1 The show has already begun on the 24th of February, and Samsung has officially announced the release of its Galaxy Note 8.0. Right after this, in the afternoon time, Huawei’s announced its Ascend P2 Android flagship. Subsequently, Mozilla hosted its own event in the evening where it unveiled its Firefox mobile OS in partnership with ZTE and Telefonica (O2), amongst others. Later in the evening at the Pepcom Mobile Focus Global witnessed a range of phone-makers and related companies attending to show off their latest gear. Day 2 25th of February started at 8 am with events by Sony and LG, followed by Nokia conference. Sony showcased its Xperia Z smartphone and Xperia Tablet Z, while LG launched the Optimus G Pro flagship. Qualcomm and Asus events consumed the afternoon. ZTE hosted event at 3.30pm saw more Android and Windows Phone devices. Day 3 26th of February morning saw the Intel Benchmarking session showcase followed by Samsung tour demonstration including the Galaxy Note 8.0. From 2pm onwards Alcatel, HP, Acer and Lenovo took their time till 5 pm, after which Huawei hosted drinks from 7pm onwards. Moreover, Nokia’s App Developer party and the party with Pocket Gamer made the evening glamorous. Day 4 27th February, will witness Qualcomm followed by the Sony event in the morning. After which, LogMeIn and LG would take the afternoon. Lenovo and Samsung events are scheduled for 5pm and 7pm respectively. Subsequently, the Mobile Mixology, TechCrunch Barcelona Mobile Meetup 2013 will consume the evening, after which the WIP Jam Party will start. Day 5 28th February is the concluding day, which would witness the big MLOVE party, the largest social event of the whole show.
