Gionee S11’s official video reveals FullView display and four cameras

Earlier this week, the upcoming Gionee S11 smartphone’s alleged live images hit the interwebs. The images suggested that the phone will come with an 18:9 display and four cameras – two at the rear and two on the front. Now, the company’s Thailand arm has released a promotional video for the device on its Facebook account and has confirmed the presence of the aforementioned leaked features on the Gionee S11. In addition, a promotional poster of the phone has also been leaked, which has revealed its specs regarding the camera, display and memory.

Talking about the promo video first, the brand has confirmed that the Gionee S11 will feature a nearly bezel-free display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone will flaunt a dual camera setup at both the front and rear. The device appears to sport a glass back panel, which curved on both the edges. The marketing tagline of the S11 in the video reads “Four lens FullView”, which is highlighting both the 18:9 display and four cameras of the device.

As per the promotional poster, the Gionee S11 will feature a 5.99-inch full HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass on top. It will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone will flaunt a 16-megapixel fixed-focus primary snapper on the front, mated to an 8-megapixel secondary shooter. At the rear, the device will have a 16MP autofocus snapper, accompanied by a 5MP shooter.

According to the earlier reports, the Gionee S11 will be powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6763 processor and will be boot Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device is expected to be fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery. The company is also rumoured to launch a variant of the phone with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
