Gionee is planning to launch a new Android phablet in the global market dubbed as Gionee Gpad G4 with a massive 5.7 inch display and a quad-core processor, very soon. Today, company officially launched the Gionee Gpad G3 in the Indian market with 5.5 inch display for Rs. 9,999 and now it is teasing its upcoming phablet on its Facebook page.
However, the upcoming phone from Gionee is already available to buy in the Chinese market with a different name and it looks like company is planning to release it in more markets with the stated name Gionee Gpad G4. Features wise, Gionee Gpad G4 offers a massive display with the resolution of 1280*720 pixels with one glass solution technology. Company has powered the phone with a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor along with 1 GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX 544MP2 graphics processor. The operating system phone is running on is the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It sports a decent 13 MP rear camera along with LED flash and BSI sensor, and there is a 5 MP front facing shooter is also there in the phone for video calling. A 3200 mAh battery under the hood is surely going to be one of the promising features to the Android smartphone buyers in the upcoming Gionee smartphone. Recently, Gionee Elife E6 was launched in India for Rs. 22,999 with pretty cool features and the upcoming Gpad G4 is also expected to arrive in the similar price range.
