[IFA 2017]: ASUS unveils ZenBook Flip 14 and and Flip 15 convertibles

ASUS pulled the covers off a host of new laptops at its IFA presentation in Berlin. The company has launched the ZenBook Flip 14 and Flip 15 and has also made processor upgrades to its existing lineup of notebooks.


ASUS ZenBook Flip 14Talking about the ZenBook Flip 14 first, the laptop is being touted as the world’s slimmest 2-in-1 and features a 360-degree flippable touchscreen. The laptop is being powered by the latest 8th generation Core i7 processor from Intel and comes equipped with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia MX150 graphics card as well. For storage, buyers will get a 512GB PCIe x4 SSD and the notebook boasts an impressive battery life of 13 hours. It is priced at €799 (~Rs 60,500).

ASUS ZenBook Flip 15
The ZenBook Flip 15, on the other hand, features a bigger 15.6-inch rotatable screen which boasts a resolution of 4K UHD or FHD and is backed by faster memory clocked at 2,400MHz. Moreover, the laptop comes equipped with a GTX 1050 graphics card and can be configured with up to 2TB of HDD and 512GB of SSD. It is priced at €899 (~Rs 68,000).

As for its other offerings, ASUS has upgraded the internals of the ZenBook Flip S, VivoBook Flip 14, ZenBook 13, ZenBook 3 Deluxe and the VivoBook S14 with the latest processors from Intel.
