CES 2018: ASUS introduces ZenBook 13 and X507 Windows 10 laptops

The ZenBook 13 is an ultrabook featuring an all-metal chassis and 15 hours of battery life

At the ongoing CES 2018 in Las Vegas, we have witnessed the launch of a handful of new laptops from brands like Acer, Dell, Lenovo and Samsung. Now, ASUS has also joined the crowd and has launched a couple of consumer-centric laptops. The company has showcased the ASUS ZenBook 13 and X507 laptops at the event. The new ASUS ZenBook 13 is a slim, light and ultra-portable offering, which comes as a competitor to the MacBook line up. The ASUS X507 comes as a slightly refreshed version of an earlier laptop with the same name.

ASUS ZenBook 13

The ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX331UAL) ultrabook sports a premium all-metal chassis, which tips the scales at 985g. The Windows 10 laptop is powered by an 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with 16GB of RAM. The notebook comes with a superfast 1TB PCIe solid state drive. The device features all-day battery life with 15 hours of usage, according tothe brand. The laptop gets Harman Kardon audio enhancements, and offers features like Windows Hello, Modern Standby and Microsofts digital assistant Cortana.

ASUS X507

As for the ASUS X507, the laptop boasts a full HD display with slim NanoEdge bezels for a svelte appearance. The notebook is powered by a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, mated to an NVIDIA GeForce MX110 graphics processing unit. This one also comes with Windows 10 and theCortana digital assistant. No other details about the notebook have been shared by the brand at the moment.

The ASUS ZenBook 13 and X507 notebooks will be available in the first half of this year. Their pricing and availability will be announced at local launch.

ASUS Vivo AiO V222

Alongside the new laptops, ASUS has also introduced two new all-in-one desktops, the Vivo AIO V272 and AIO V222. The former features a 27-inch multi-touch display, while the latter gets a 22-inch full HD screen. They are powered by Windows 10 and come with the Cortana digital assistant.
