ASUS on Wednesday launched its VivoBook S14 (S410UA) laptop in India. The highlight features on the new portable from ASUS include a thin bezel NanoEdge Display and 8th-generation Intel processors. The VivoBook S14 features a thin metallic design, measuring just 18.8mm, and weighs around 1.4kg.
Moving to the specifications, the new VivoBook S14 sports a 14-inch full-HD display that has been claimed to offer a 77 percent screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience, as per the company. There are four display modes, i.e. Normal, Vivid, Eye Care, and Manual, to allow users to adjust the display as per their personal requirements.
The new laptop from ASUS is powered by up to an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM, the company said in its release. The VivoBook S14 is available with a dual storage option of 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD and up to a 256GB SATA M.2 SSD. The connectivity options on the new laptop include a USB 3.1 type-C (Gen 1) port, USB 2.0 port, a micro-HDMI port, and a microSD card slot. The VivoBook S14 additionally comes with support for dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.

The VivoBook S14 has been made available in India starting Wednesday in three variants, i.e. 7th-generation Intel Core i3 model, 8th-generation Intel Core i5, and 8th-generation Intel Core i7 model. The pricing for the laptop starts from Rs 54,990 and it is already available for purchase through Flipkart.
As part of Valentine’s Day celebrations, from Feb 14th to Feb 28th, the VivoBook S14 model with a 7th-generation Core i3 processor will be available for Rs 44,990.
