Archos has unveiled a bunch of new devices at IFA 2013 in Berlin. Company has launched Archos 101 XS2, Archos ChefPad and Archos ChildPad Android based tablet at IFA 2013 to impress the budget friendly tablet buyers.
Archos 101 XS2 is certainly the most mainstream device out of these three. It comes with a 10.1inch IPS touch screen display with the resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad core Rochchip processor chipset along with 2GB of RAM memory. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which is good enough to save a lot of date on the device and in case you need more you can further expend it via microSD card slot. It is running on the un-skinned version of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and Comes with 2MP camera. It also comes with a keyboard dock which can magnetically attached to the screen of the device when not in use to prevent scratches.
Archos ChefPad is a fairly interesting device that comes with a 9.7inch display and powered by a 1.6GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. It comes with 8GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot to expend it further.
The Archos ChildPad is specially designed with kid-specific user interface. It is designed to be a bit more rugged than the above two mentioned tablets from the company. It offers filtered Google Play Store for kids and comes with full parental control system and runs on Android 4.2.2 JB OS version. Apart from the plastic body it also comes with a separate silicon bumper case which will prevent it from accidental damage.
