In a press event in San Francisco today, Apple has announced that its updated iWork productivity suite as well as iLife apps will be free for the new iOS and Mac device buyers. Apple iLife apps like iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand are now updated with hundreds of new features. While, the Apple iWork suite has received a 64-bit update with revamped interface as well with enhanced performance.
Pages in the iWork are now having totally redesigned user interface and a new content-sensitive panel on the right side. Numbers in the productivity suite now also support interactive charts. Keynote is updated with object-related animations along with physics transitions. Additionally, users are now also able to share documents through Apple iCloud service. Now it also having collaboration features with the iCloud to allow the users to work with others to edit docs simultaneously.
Apple iLife media applications have been optimized for iOS 7 as well as for OSX Mavericks updates. Company has added 64-bit support to provide faster in-app performance along with much easier integration with the iCloud service. Apple noted that browsing photos via iPhoto has never been faster or easier thanks to the update.
Apple has also updated iMovie app with all-new design which has been designed keeping simplicity in the mind. GarageBand has also got a totally fresh look for iOS 7 and its Mac version is updated with a Drummer tool which auto-generates variety of beats in the style of many professional drummers.
