“The iPhone 7 is now available at the starting price of Rs 49,000”
Just a few hours back, Apple unleashed three new iPhones – the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. The pricing of the new iPhones starts at Rs 64,000 and goes up to a whopping Rs 1,02,000. Soon after the unveiling, Apple has dropped the prices of the previous gen iPhones – the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (review). The older smartphones have received a price drop of up to Rs 8,200 in the country. Also, the company seems to have discontinued the 256GB storage variants of the iPhone 7 duo, and they are not listed on its website anymore.
The base Apple iPhone 7 with 32GB of storage is now available for Rs 49,000 after getting a price drop of Rs 7,200. The 128GB model of the phone is now being offered for Rs 58,000, as compared to Rs 65,200 earlier. The iPhone 7 Plus 32GB will now set you back by Rs 59,000, after a price drop of Rs 8,300. The phone’s 128GB model is now being offered for Rs 68,000, after a price cut of Rs 8,200. They are available at the reduced pricing via Apple reseller stores across the country. It’s worth mentioning that some e-commerce portals are selling the iPhone 7 duo at even cheaper prices.
For a recap on the specs, the Apple iPhone 7 duo offer a dust and water-resistant full aluminium bodies, and ditch the 3.5mm headphone jacks in favour of bundled Lightning EarPods. They offer the A10 Fusion chipset and Force Touch-sensitive Touch ID home buttons. The iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch display and a single 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS. The iPhone 7 Plus flaunts a 5.5-inch display and a dual camera setup at the rear.
As for the iPhone 8 duo, it will be available in India starting September 29th. The iPhone X’s pre-orders in India will start on October 27th, and it will start shipping from November 3rd.
