Last month, Airtel partnered with Karbonn for the A40 Indian, a 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone at an effective price of Rs 1,399. Now, the telecom operator has once again partnered with handset maker, and has launched the Karbonn A1 Indian and A41 Power budget 4G smartphones. Both the handsets come with dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE and VoLTE (voice over LTE) support, and boot Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The Karbonn A1 Indian from Airtel is available at a down payment of Rs 3,299, while the A41 Power is being offered at a down payment of Rs 3,349. The buyers will get a cash refund of Rs 500 after 18 months and another Rs 1,000 after 36 months, making it a total cashback benefit of Rs 1,500. This will bring the effective price of the A1 Indian to Rs 1,799, and the A41 Power’s price to Rs 1,849. Also, note that the users will have to make a minimum recharge of Rs 6,000 to get a full refund of Rs 1,500 on both the devices. Apart from the brick and mortar stores across the country, these phones will also be available on Amazon India.
As for the specs, the Karbonn A1 Indian offers a 4-inch WVGA display, and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core processor. The phone comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. The camera department includes a 3.2MP rear snapper and a 2MP front shooter. The device comes pre-loaded with apps like MyAirtel, Airtel TV and Wynk Music, and is fuelled by a 1,500mAh battery.
The Karbonn A41 Power comes with a 4-inch display, and is fuelled by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, mated to 1GB of RAM. The phone offers 8GB of expandable storage, a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front shooter. A 2,300mAh battery completes the list of the specifications.
