Acer reveals MeeGo based Iconia Tab M500

Acer unveils the new tablet computing device Acer Iconia Tab M500 at Computex 2011. This 10-inch Iconia tab is the first tablet device to run Intel developed MeeGo. Mr.David Lee, Vice President Acer introduced this device to the gathering, he also demonstrated the customized circular interface that makes extensive use of widgets. He said this interface is called snackable, and this is designed to keep important content easily accessible. AcerM500-1 The device seems to be an iteration of Acer Iconia Tab A500 which is a Android Honeycomb tablet. In actual, the hardware profile is atmost different. The new Acer Iconia Tab M500 equipped with Intel Atom processor, the CPU speed and other hardware specification are yet to be identified. Pricing and availability of this device is unknown at this time.
