Acer has added a new Chromebook laptop to its inventory with the launch of Acer Chromebook C720-2848. Priced at $199.99, the latest Acer Chromebook is targeted at the budget conscious buyers. The new Chromebook is actually a down-graded edition of previously launched C720 model. Acer is surely going to impress the consumers in this holiday season with its latest offering.
Acer Chromebook C720-2848 packs some decent features like an 11.6 inch display with the resolution of 1366*768 pixels. Company has powered the new device with an Intel Celeron 2955U processor based on Haswell micro-architecture clocked at 1.4 GHz. Its performance is also supported by a 2 GB of RAM, which is less than the 4 GB provided in the C720 model.
Other features of the new Acer Chromebook include HD Webcam, dual speakers, HDMI out, USB 2.0 & 3.0 ports, WiFi, 3-Cell Li-Polymer battery with 8.5 hours life, 16 GB solid-state drive and Bluetooth 4.0.

It also comes with 100 GB of free Google Drive storage for two years, 12 free GoGo In-flight passes and 60 days of Google Play Music all access features. It is available to buy in Amazon US and Best Buy stores. Global launch of the new Chromebook is expected sometimes around December this year.
