Acer isn’t shying away from launching it’s full product range ahead of IFA. Along with its flagship smartphone Liquid S2, the manufacturer also released a 10” tablet with WXGA resolution. It comes with decent specifications making it an ideal choice for those who’re looking for mid-range tablet. Let’s see what it offers-

Similar to Samsung Galaxy S4’s Smart Rotation feature, Iconia W3 has a IntelliSpin feature which will rotate the image on the tablet even when it’s lying on the surface based on its orientation. There’s also Touch WakeApp, which can provide quick access to favorite apps even when the tablet is in sleep mode. Although, Android 4.3 has a guest mode for tablets, Acer has modified the Android 4.2 itself to support up to eight separate and customizable user spaces on the device.
The device is also great for multimedia enthusiasts as it has Dolby Digital Plus which creates a 5.1 surround sound experience over the earphones. It also cancels out the noise and boosts the dialogue’s volume resulting it clear dialogues. The loudspeakers are also placed as such to give an impression of virtual sound box for stereo effects.
Pricing and Availability
The Wi-Fi version of the tablet is priced at 249 euros and will be available from October in Europe, Middle East and Africa, whereas the 3G variant will retail at 299 Euros in the same continents from November.
