What’s the difference?

When sizing up the two smartphones, you will notice that both phones boast of more or less the same features. However, the phones differ significantly in terms of Display and Battery features. Also, the Samsung Omnia W uses a normal SIM card whereas the Nokia Lumia 710 uses a Micro SIM card.

The display size on both phones is same but the Omnia W has AMOLED display and is thus thinner at 10.7mm. However, the Lumia 710 comes with TFT display with Gorilla Glass and is 12.5mm thick.

The Omnia W comes with a 1,500mAh battery whereas the Lumia 710 comes with a 1300 mAh battery. However, both these phones come with removable battery.

It is really a battle of the titans here since both phones are very similar spec-wise. However, the Omnia W does show some superiority in some aspects like battery life and a secondary VGA camera for video calling. The Lumia 710 lacks a secondary camera. Also, the Lumia 710 is slightly more expensive than the Omnia W. If you are a true Nokia loyalist, Lumia 710 is the phone for you. But, if minute differences matter to you, Omnia W is the better option.
