Zync has silently launched a new low end Android smartphone dubbed as Zync Cloud Z401 online for Rs. 4,499. It is mainly targeted for the entry level smartphone buyers in India. Most of the features available in the phone are good enough comparing to its price tag, but it runs quite older Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system version which may create a problem for the company in the sales of the device.
Features wise, Zync Cloud Z401 comes with a 4inch multi touch capacitive touch screen display with the resolution of 480*800 pixels that provides decent media viewing experience. It is powered by a 1GHz single core processor along with 256MB of RAM memory. It comes with 128MB of internal storage that is expendable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It is a dual SIM device with GSM + GSM network support. It comes with 2MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front facing shooter. Connectivity features of the phone include WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and WiFi Hotspot options. The phone is powered by a 1300mAh battery and comes with gravity sensor. Zync is surely going to have a lot of competition with its latest device because rival brands like Karbonn, Micromax and Intex are also offering many entry level choices for the Indian buyers. Celkon has also launched Celkon Campus A63 entry level smartphone for Rs. 4,499 which is offering Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version.
