Last September, Sony launched the Xperia XZ flagship smartphone in India for Rs 51,990. Now the company has dropped the price of the phone by Rs 10,000, and is selling it for Rs 41,990. The company’s online sales partner for the Xperia XZ, Amazon India, is selling the phone for an even more discounted price tag of Rs 39,000.
The Sony Xperia XZ (review) flagship flaunts IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. It offers a 23MP rear snapper with 4K recording and manual shutter speed, and a 13MP front shooter. The device gets a 5-axis video stabilisation solution and Sony’s Triple Image Sensing technology – colour, PDAF and laser autofocus.
As for the other specs, the Xperia XZ sports a 5.2-inch full HD LCD TRILUMINOS display, a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 4G, VoLTE and a 2,900mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology and adaptive charging.
