Keeping the rumors aside, the new Sony Xperia S appears in the leaked press shots ahead of its official announcement. At a first glance we can immediately notice that the device named with Sony. This was resulted with Sony’s acquisition of Ericsson stake. In a couple of hours the new Sony Xperia S will be appear at 2012 International CES and Sony’s official press conference. The new Sony Xperia S, previously known as Nozomi LT26i boasts a 4.3 inch LCD display with 1280 x 720 HD resolution. The device comes packed with 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and internal memory. Initially, this smartphone runs on Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread and will be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich during the second or third quarter 2012. Sony Xperia S will feature a 12.0 Megapixel camera with LED flash and Sony Exmor-R technology. This allows the user to enjoy recording the videos at 1080p HD. Also the device sports an additional front facing camera for video calling and taking self-portrait. The Sony Xperia S is expected in two colors Black and Silver.
