Sony’s another mid-range Android smartphone Sony Xperia M is now available to buy in India at online stores for Rs. 12,990. Saholic.com has listed the phone in its inventory with the delivery date after 24th August. Infibeam.com has also started taking pre-orders for the phone and it states that the product will be available on August 18th. It was originally launched globally earlier this year in June.
Features wise, Sony Xperia M comes with a scratch resistant 4 inch TFT display with 854*480 pixels resolution and 245ppi pixels density. Sony has powered the phone with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz along with 1GB of RAM memory. It is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system version coupled with Sony’s custom User Interface. And, it is expected to receive Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in the future.
It comes with 4GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot to expend it up to 32GB. It packs 5MP rear camera with Exmor Sensor and LED flash, a VGA front facing shooter is also present in the phone. It is capable of shooting videos with 720p quality with 30 frames per second. It is a 3G device and comes with Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC connectivity features. Overall, the features of the phone are good enough to provide decent smartphone experience and company has priced the phone decently.
