Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone Sony Xperia Honami also known as Sony Xperia i1 has been leaked again with new set of images. These images are leaked on a Chinese forum and the White color model of this phone is captured alongside Apple iPhone 5 in one of these photos. The source also suggests that it will be featuring 1/2.3-inch camera sensor instead of highly rumored 1/1.6inch.
Sony Xperia i1 expected to come with a 5inch full HD display with the resolution of 1080 pixels. It won’t be much different on the front side from the Sony Xperia Z Ultra smartphone, which is the latest Android flagship Sony has to offer at the moment to the high end buyers.
It is reported to feature a 20MP rear camera along with LED flash and G-Lens. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Quad Core processor along with Adreno 330 GPU. It will be having a massive 3000mAh battery under the hood. Sony is expected to launch the phone on September 4th at this year’s IFA Trade Show in Berlin.
In related news, according to some presentation photos leaked on a Chinese website, Sony Xperia i1 will be able to capture videos with 4K quality. A 4K quality video has 4096*2160 pixels resolution and to achieve this much of high quality on a mobile device, it needs a high performance chipset like Snapdragon 800 which officially supports this much resolution. Specs related rumors of the phone are kind of backing up the 4K quality video feature in the phone because the phone is reported to be powered by Snapdragon 800 processor. Anyways, the IFA Trade show is just a few weeks away, so if you are eagerly waiting for the phone then keep checking the blog for more updates.
