The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios is an entry-level Android Jelly Bean smartphone with three SIM slots.
Samsung has unveiled its latest triple SIM Android smartphone on its official website in Brazil. The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios
is a low-end device with improved features compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Star
, which was released in early 2013.
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy Star Trios
runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and offers a 3.1-inch TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone is fuelled by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 single core CPU along with 1GB of RAM and a 1,300mAh battery. It offers a 2MP rear camera but lacks a front shooter. Internal memory is only 4GB but is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The Galaxy Star Trios is currently on sale in Brazil for 400 Brazilian Real (around Rs 10,360). Samsung hasn’t provided any details regarding the availability of the device in the global market. But since it’s an entry-level Android phone with three SIM slots, we expect it to release soon in India.
LG also introduced
a triple SIM smartphone recently, the LG Optimus L1 II Tri
. It offers the same specifications as the LG Optimus L1 Dual
whichv was released in India last year for Rs 6,499.
