Samsung to launch Galaxy Pocket Plus low budget phone

Samsung will soon be coming up with a new entry level Android-based smartphone that may carry a brand of Galaxy Pocket Plus. Samsung-Galaxy-Pocket It is speculated that the Galaxy Pocket Plus GT- S5301 smartphone will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system and is learned to be an improved version of the existing Samsung Galaxy Pocket that runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS. Leaked details about the phone were originally spotted by SamMobile, but it goes without any information about the launching date and price. Measuring 12mm, the Galaxy Pocket smartphone sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen TN LCD display providing a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It runs an 832 MHz mobile processor and Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system. It has Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G network support. Samsung also launched a dual SIM version of Galaxy pocket called Samsung Galaxy Pocket Duos. If the Galaxy Pocket Plus comes with Android 4.0.4 ICS OS, as rumored, Samsung may also roll up the same OS update for the currently available Galaxy Pocket handsets. Well, it is usually seen that Samsung gives only little bit of extras in its “Plus” branded devices. So, lets not expect a huge change in the new Galaxy Pocket Plus.
