Samsung has slashed the price of its two Android smartphones in Indian market. Samsung Galaxy S4, the latest flagship device from the company is now available for Rs. 40,300 after getting price cut of Rs. 1200. And, recently launched Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro price is also down by Rs. 1360 and now it is available for Rs. 16,900.
The price drop in the Samsung Galaxy S4 will hardly make a big difference because the phone is already available in much lower price tag of Rs. 38,500 on some Online Stores. Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro was initially launched for Rs. 17,290 and comes with a quad core processor and running on Jelly Bean operating system. The main reason for the price drops in these phones can be the highly affordable devices from rival manufacturers like Micromax and Karbonn. The Canvas Series phones from Micromax have gained a great response from the buyers in the market because of cool features in affordable price range.
For your information, recently launched Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro is a dual SIM device with 3G network support. It also comes with a lot of handy WiFi features like Hotspot, WiFi Direct etc. it comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera which is a disappointment from the company in this price range.
