Shortly after the rumors of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
came into being, we hear that the smartphone is all set to be launched in the coming week. Earlier, it had been speculated that the device will not be making its appearance in the markets before June or July this year, post the launch of its larger variant, the Samsung Galaxy S4
So far we know that the Galaxy S4 Mini has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution and 256 ppi pixel density and will run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. The device is expected with the TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 user interface layer. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It has an 8MP Auto focus rear camera. It is expected to be a dual SIM device with latest connectivity features such as 4G LTE and NFC.
Like the Galaxy S3 Mini, the S4 Mini is expected to receive Samsung features such as the Pop Up Play and the S Voice with camera function with Sound and shot and dual camera mode.
Previous reports suggest that Samsung intended to launch the Galaxy S4 Mini right after the launch event of its bigger version, the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The device is expected to be arriving with a price tag of $450 which translates to around Rs. 22,500 in India. However, we cannot really confirm the news till Samsung lets the cat out of the bag. However, even if the device is launched this week, it is not likely to hit the market before the Galaxy S4.
