Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has added yet another mid-ranger to its portfolio. The smartphone dubbed the A57 was recently unveiled in the Chinese market by the company.
The A57 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC which comes with an Adreno 505 GPU. The 5.2-incher from OPPO boasts a 720p display with a layer of 2.5D glass on top. The device ships with 3GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Following the trend set by its earlier mid-tier smartphones, the A57 too packs a bigger 16MP front facing sensor compared to a smaller 13MP primary sensor at the back. The smartphone which runs on Android Marshmallow with a skin of Color OS 3.0 draws its fuel from a 2,900mAh cell.
Priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 16,000), the A57 is available in hues of Gold and Rose Gold and will be available for sale starting December 12th in China. We expect the device to be launched in India soon.
