The Nokia Lumia 929 is roaming around the web from quite some time, and now the phone has surfaced again, but this time in high-resolution photos along with full specs information. It was expected to be unveiled at Nokia World 2013 event in Abu Dhabi along with company’s largest smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 1520.
According to the reports, Nokia Lumia 929 will feature a 5inch AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 pixels. It will be powered by the latest 2.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics processor. It is expected to arrive with 32GB of internal storage, which is said to be non-expandable.
The camera on the back of the phone will be same as the one on the Nokia Lumia 1520 – a 20MP PureView rear shooter with ZEISS lens and dual-LED flash. It will be able to record videos with 1080p quality at 30 frames per second. It will arrive with 3G, 4G LTE, Near Field Communication and wireless charging features. At the moment it looks like it will be offered in glossy white and matte black color choices.
Nokia Lumia 929 will be running on the Windows Phone 8 operating system along with GDR3 update. The photos posted above are of the Verizon carrier bound unit of the phone. It is expected to go official any moment on Verizon US and might also go on sale just a few days after that. There is no info if the phone will be released in other regions or not.
