MTS India has launched two new CDMA Android Handsets in the market on 28th
May, 2012. These are MTAG 401 and Samsung Galaxy Y. Earlier MTS has also released MTS MTag 3.1 and MTS Livewire. Both of these budgeted phones have done a good job in the market. Let us look more closely into its latest release.
MTS MTAG 401
This Smartphone is available at 8,999 INR. With fully power packed Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Mhz S1 processor and Android Gingerbread 2.3.5, MTAG 401 is ready to give a stiff competition to its counterparts. The 4 inch 800×480 Capacitive Display and 233 Pixel Per Density make it look more stylish. Enabled with GPS, Wifi Hotspot and 3MP camera, you wouldn’t find any problem in connectivity aspect of this phone. MTS MTAG 401 supports both CDMA and EVDO rev A. You will get around 3.1 Mbps downlink and up to 1.8Mbps uplink speed on this Smartphone on a recharge of 492.00 INR for 3 months.
Samsung Galaxy Y CDMA
It is yet another popular Smartphone launched by MTS India at a price of 7,999.00 INR. Samsung Galaxy Y comes with Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and 600 Mhz (MSM7627) Processor. It’s 3 Inch QVGA TFT 320X240 Display will ensure that its shining remain as it is. Some other features attached to it are FM Radio, 2 MP Camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. With a paper recharge of 492.00, Samsung Galaxy Y will also support CDMA 800 Mhz and EVDO REV A for period of 3 months.
