In November last year, MSI announced its new gaming laptop, the GT80 Titan. The company now has revealed the full specifications of the notebook at CES 2015. The vendor claims it to be the world’s first ever gaming laptop with an integrated Cherry MX Brown switch mechanical keyboard from SteelSeries. On the side of the keyboard, there’s an intuitive digital trackpad, which also serves as a number pad.
Coming to the features, the MSI GT80 Titan is offered in two variants – Titan SLI-009 and SLI-001. It features an 18.4-inch full-HD display, and is powered by an Intel Core i7-4980HQ / Core i7-4720HQ processor, coupled with up to 24GB of RAM. Gaming is handled by a Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M SLI graphics processor. The notebook comes with a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD and 1TB HDD storage. Other features include Sound Blaster Cinema 2, Dynaudio speakers with a subwoofer, full-HD webcam, five USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, Bluetooth, Killer E2200 Game Networking, Killer N1525 Wireless-AC, and a 9-cell battery.
The MSI GT80 Titan will be available with a two-year warranty, and will go on sale on major online retail stores across the globe in the coming months. For this gaming behemoth, you will need to shell out $3,399 (approx. Rs 2,16,000) for the basic model.
