Just a day after leaking online, the Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 with quad core processor and 12MP camera is now available online for Rs. 14,999. Company is basically offering an alternative to Micromax Canvas 4 with its latest device with a bit upgraded features. Micromax Canvas 4 hasn’t seen much success due to high price-tag. However, the recently launched Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 which is a direct competitor to Samsung Galaxy Note devices did pretty well in the market.
Features wise, Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 comes with a 5inch IPS display with the resolution of 1280*720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core processor along with 1GB RAM. It comes with 12MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording feature. There is a 5MP front facing shooter is also present in the phone for video calling.
There is 4GB of internal storage in the latest Canvas offering which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It is a 3G device with HSDPA up to 42 Mbps and its connectivity features include WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. It is running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version and powered by a decent 2000mAh battery.
