Just a few days of launching the Smarty A54, Micromax has launched the Smarty A65 at a price of Rs. 4,999. The A65 is a dual SIM that works on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) operating system.
The Micromax A65 comes with a 4.3 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 480×800 pixels offering a pixel density of 217 ppi. The phone is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A5 processor along with 4GB of RAM. The processor housed by the A65 is manufactured by the chipset manufacturers SpreadTrum, that has made heavy investments in Micromax.
For connectivity, the A65 offers 2G, Wi-Fi, EDGE and Bluetooth. It has a 2MP rear camera with fixed focus and CMOS sensor which also offers multi shot mode, night vision and image editor. It also has a 03.MP front camera.
The A65 has 190 MB of internal memory, which is expandable via microSD up to 32GB. It houses a 1350mAh battery that offers talk time of up to 5 hours and It is powered by a 1350mAh battery with a claimed battery life of 5 hours of talk time on 2G and 205 hours on standby mode.
