“Here’s a first look at the newly-launched budget smartphone from MEIZU”
MEIZU has been a part of the Indian smartphone scene for a little over a year now. The company launched the MX5 (review) in India last year, which at the time was the cheapest smartphone to come equipped with a MediaTek Helio X10 processor. While MEIZU has been aggressive with its pricing and has equipped its smartphones with some standout features, the finicky availability of its devices online has led to the company not enjoying the same level of success as some other Chinese brands present in India. However, all of that is subject to change with the recent launch of the MEIZU m3s. The phone, which was announced a while back has finally made its way to the Indian shores and here are our two cents on the smartphone.
Peeking under the hood of the metal-clad m3s, users will find a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor. The smartphone ships in two different configurations of 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage. The MEIZU m3s sports a pair of 13MP and 5MP sensors on the back and the front respectively and is fuelled by a 3,020mAh battery. The 5-incher sports HD resolution and a fingerprint sensor on its mback home button, and in our brief usage with the device, felt extremely comfortable to hold.
