LG is reported to be making a comeback in the Android tablet market with the launch of LG G Pad 8.3inch tablet in September at IFA Trade Show 2013 in Berlin. Company was out of the tablet market from a long time because the previous tablet LG Optimus Pad from the Korean manufacturer was launched in the summer of 2011.
According to a report coming out of Greek website TechBlog.gr, LG G Pad Android tablet will be featuring an 8.3 inch full HD display with the resolution of 1920 * 1080 pixels. It is reported to be powered by a Quad Core processor along with 2GB of RAM memory. It is going to be launched with the similar super thin screen bezel which is already present in the recently launched Android flagship LG G2. Its super thin bezel will make it a very thin and light weight Android powered tablet. It is reported to be designed with aluminium shell, so we assume it will be aimed at the premium end of the tablet market. The website claims it is not going to support the voice calling features, while most of the company’s are focusing on providing voice calling features in their latest tablets. LG G Pad is said to be having similar features like the Google Nexus 7 tablet, but in a larger body with a bit bigger screen size. Anyways, IFA Trade show in September is just a few weeks away, so stay tuned with us to get all the updates regarding upcoming devices in Berlin next month.
